  CSCA LANDSHARKS RUNNING CLUB

SPRING TRACK & CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING SERIES

We offer a non-competitive youth program to introduce running to young athletes in a safe and fun environment. The focus is on self-improvement, being an encouraging teammate, and making new friends.

The Spring Track and Cross Country Series is a six-week school program led by Coach Lisa Lewis and is open to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Please remember to purchase a (
Forest Green) team race shirt if this is your first season running.

 

Practices consist of running, games, and workouts with a strong focus on fun.

MANDATORY PRACTICE ATTIRE/GEAR

  • Athletic shorts, pants, & leggings.
  • T-shirts or athletic shirt.  
  • A good pair of running shoes.
  • A full water bottle.
  • A light jacket or hoodie in case the weather gets cold. 

At the races, runners receive a race bib with their number, ribbons, a series medal at the final race, and refreshments. Race results are posted on the Landsharks website.

RACE DAY NECESSITIES 

  • Team Landsharks shirt
  • Appropriate running attire for the weather - pants, shorts, sweatshirt, jacket, etc.
  • A FULL water bottle with your runner's name on it. 
  • A good pair of running shoes.
